QR – CODES FOR VARIOUS IPD, AND FoV

People have different distance between their eyes. The average pupillary distance for an adult is between 54-68 mm, and the range for children is approximately 41-55 mm.

Too much difference from the individual Interpupillary Distance (IPD), to what is rendered in the headset is uncomfortable and may cause double vision, or eye strain.

Below are two sets of unofficial QR-Codes for the standard Cardboard headset to try. They have an IPD in the range from 41 to 73 mm, and two different Field of View settings for various sizes of phones, headsets, and the load to put on the processor.

Print the codes on a paper, or open this page from another device. Then start the game in VR mode, and click the gear button to set up the viewer by scanning the QR code with the device camera. Remember to adjust the lenses after changing the configuration.

CALIBRATION FOR LARGER FIELD OF VIEW (approx 100-120°)

CALIBRATION FOR SMALLER FIELD OF VIEW (approx 60-80°)
